Amazon Customer 2.0 out of 5 stars I have plugged it into Cisco IP Phone 7960. I have to switch to handset. Reason I bought it improve voice quality.very disappointed!I work from home so I have the need for a headset for my computer, my cell phone and a Cisco desk phone so this headset seemed to cover all of those needs for a reasonable price The good - The headset is light, and pretty comfortable to wear. I prefer a one eared solution since for calls its easier when you're able to hear yourself a bit The headset does what it says - it hooked up to all my devices easily and has a connector that I can disconnect easily from the Cisco phone and connect it to my laptop without having to mess around in the back of the phone to disconnect the RJ9 plug The bad - The sound quality is very poor.

I found myself constantly asking people to repeat themselves and it got to a point where I just unplugged it during a call and put my cell phone to my ear to get a much better quality of audio. I switched out between this set and my older headsets that had broken and the difference in quality was very noticeable. I ended up taking my old headset together and using it temporarily while I re-ordered it from Amazon. In the end all of the features and device compatibility don't really mean much when it's almost impossible to clearly understand the person you're speaking toSorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Out of the box, the mic barely worked. It would work for 2 seconds, then go silent for 5 seconds, followed by working for 2 seconds, etc. This thing is not usable at all. It defeats the purpose of the whole thing. Sure, I could hear my clients just fine, but they couldn't hear me. I returned this within 2 hours of it being delivered. This thing is horrifyingly bad. And like another reviewer said, this is NOT a Cisco headset. How on Earth can they even get away with calling it that at all. Talk about false advertising.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again The intention is to use this with my desk phone at my office (when we return). The adapters are very welcome for that purpose. I've carried my phone around my house and even outside while on calls with no issues with the connection. A couple of months of heavy use and I haven't encountered any breaking of the cable. The shirt clip is good to have and works well too. I've been told call quality on the other side of the call is 5 out of 5. The ear piece (I have the one ear model) is pretty comfortable for an hour or so. But after that I need to just move it a bit for continued comfort. My only nit to pick would a desire for a slightly longer cable with the cell phone adapter.

The cable for a desk phone is stretchy and should be plenty long enough. This headset works great for what I need. I will probably upgrade to a bluetooth wireless setup for my cell eventually.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Mic seems to be going in and out indicating faulty or cheap assembly or hardware. Very disappointed. Its gonna cost me to much to return it before the return policy expires with all this Covid stuff going on, so my advise is beware.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again.
